Position: Manager Sports

The incumbent, with a professional background in sports management, will be expected to oversee the operations of sports facilities, manage team participations in external competitions, liaise with regulatory bodies, establish new relationships in terms of facilities utilization as well as maintain existing partnerships/affiliations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Developing and sustaining sports culture at inter-institutional level and national level.
• Inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship in the students while providing support to aspiring athletes.
• Organizing, promoting, and managing activities, facilities, and resources available within the Alumni Student Center.
• Manage registrations, partnerships and participation in relevant competitions and tournaments that would promote the institute’s teams and escorting team members to such events.
• Liaise with HEC and other regulatory bodies to ensure inclusion and participation of the IBA teams in national/international events.
• Establish relationships in the corporate as well as education sector to offer our facilities for hosting sports events
• Management and supervision of all staff under the ambit of Sports as well as the Alumni Student Center.
• Design and introduce innovation ideas pertaining to promotion of sports activities within the institute.

Master’s in relevant field from HEC recognized university/institute.

Minimum 07 years’ experience of sports management in a reputable organization. Sportspersons of National/International level shall be given preference.

Position: Junior Librarian

It is an entry-level position, and the incumbent will develop positional and technical capabilities of the library's work under the close guidance of the Deputy Librarian. The incumbent will carry out the library’s day-to-day professional routines as delegated by the supervisors and actively assist in the effective delivery of essential library services.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Assist in the acquisition and cataloguing related activities of library items by performing original or copy cataloging.

•    Assist in maintaining circulation records and perform duties at ‘Check-out’ and ‘Ask Us’ desks.

•    Actively participant in the delivery of information services by helping staff and students in locating relevant information / sources.

•    Carry-out shelf-reading or similar tasks to upkeep, maintain and organize library collections.

•    Help with library orientation and in-class information handling sessions.


Bachelor's Degree (preferably Masters in Library and Information Science) or equivalent 16 years of education from a HEC recognized university with a CGPA of 3.0 or above.


One year of work experience in an academic library, preferred but not essential.

Core Skills:

•    Familiarity with commonly used databases and electronic products.

•    Understanding of information searching and retrieval techniques.

•    Basic knowledge key functions and use of an integrated library automation system.

•    Ability to quickly learn and teach oneself technologies affecting library services.

•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong aptitude for customer services.

•    Knowledge of using computers in workplace and library related environment.
